Cincinnati is one of the happiest places in Ohio. The community here is friendly, and the residents live harmoniously with each other. The place also has a full calendar of celebrations devoted to music and hospitality. Here is a pack of annual events in this great town.
Ohio has a standing tradition when it comes to Bockfest. This is a tradition that was formed by all brewery outlets in the town to release their bock beer on the same day each year. Bock is usually used to mark seasonal changes. It marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The celebration is often graced by large parades.
Macy’s Music Festival
Macy’s Music is organized to celebrate R&B artists from Ohio and other parts of the country. The event usually attracts more than 65,000 people, and it lasts for two days. It happens in July each year at Paul Brown Stadium. Several artists have performed in the event including Mary J Blige, Earth, Wind and Fire and Patti LaBelle. Macy's Music party has made the town a prime destination for summer music escapade in July.
This event occurs at P&G Riverfest early September each year. It is one of the biggest events that attract over 500,000 people from different parts of Ohio. The event is spectacular with several bands performing at the Serpentine Wall stage. Fun activities such as skydiving and family sessions also grace the event. Incredible streams of fireworks mark the climax of the event at 9.05 p.m.
Halloween is held at Cincinnati Zoo every October. The event is marked by a lot of activities featuring unique and peculiar sessions for children with different costumes as they match to the Zoo and Botanical Garden. There are also special activities dedicated to animals and Phil Dalton’s Theatre of Illusions Shows. Hallzooween is free for everyone.
